Hi, my name is Alix and I am one picky MF.
And, long before I knew better, I used to believe it when I was called, on occasion, “snobby” by people who just didn’t get it.
But there’s a huge, HUGE difference between the two.
Because, ya know, I’m a pretty chill chick. I’m kind to others, always. So I’m not snobby.
I’m just extremely particular about everything.
Like the food I put in my body.
Like what time I go to bed.
Like when I workout.
Like who I surround myself with.
Like the state of the environment I’m in at any given time.
And the way I see it, everyone should be.
Because you are LITERALLY what you eat.
You are a product of your environment.
You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.
You are the sum of your habits and choices.
You are the sum of what you read and what you listen to.
You are the sum of your thoughts.
So yeah, you should be PICKY AF.
Isn’t it fascinating to look back on your life, on all the decisions you thought were so tiny, and how they all added up to lead you to this precise moment you’re in right now?
Everything is important.
AND as far as I’m concerned, you deserve the best of the best. Everyone does.
We only get one shot at this thing called life. So yeah, I want mine to be over the moon phenomenal.
It’s just, ya know, MY EXISTENCE.
Be picky about taking care of yourself before others. Be picky about what you do in your free time.
Be picky about the amount of money you put away for yourself every week so you can have a future of fun and freedom.
Be picky about what you say “Yes” to.
Be picky about how you allow others to treat you (and how you treat others)!
It’s a no-brainer.
If you want the best, you have to be picky.
Unapologetically.
You may disappoint others, but what’s far worse than disappointing others
Is disappointing yourself.
